Our international staff in Namibia and South Africa is currently arranging our initial inventory purchases from six separate disadvantaged artisan groups across southern Africa. The initial stock of artwork will be shipped to our office in the United States, after which, we will then begin selling it online. We have set December 1, 2008 as our launch date for our art gallery.

The unique line of products that we carry appeal to socially-conscious customers, as each item embodies the intimate story that weaves together the dependencies of producer and consumer, artisan and collector. Get to know the artisan and understand how your small purchase can empower the life of a disadvantaged individual.

We build relationships, complete import/export arrangements, ensure fair trade principles are followed, and remove all intermediaries so that 100% of all product sales revenues go directly to our artists.

All artwork purchased through Promote Africa is unique and exclusive, as no two products are the same and they cannot be found anywhere else.

Additionally, our products demonstrate the high-quality craftsmanship and functionality of African artwork, while each piece represents the people, communities, culture and talent that we are fortunate to work with.
