Expected Transparency from Our Partners

To comply with tax-exemption regulations and especially to abide by general ethical standards, Promote Africa takes measured steps to ensure that recipients of its donations are worthy charitable recipients.

Accordingly, Promote Africa had adopted a rigorous Donee Eligibility Policy that require that community partner organizations maintain complete accounting records, make no corrupt payments to officials, have established governance policies, operate as a non-profit organization, and are legally organized.

The criteria listed above apply specifically to community partner organizations operating as a cooperative, and generally to all community partner organizations in a partnership with Promote Africa.

Adherence to such a policy provides a deeper level of accountability and thus is a high priority for the leadership of Promote Africa.
