Promote Africa brings to the partnership a one-of-a-kind nonprofit model that combines wholesale and online retail sale of African art; the online sale of African music; a peer-to-peer lending network connected with African microfinance institutions; a peer-to-peer donation network linked to community-based nonprofit ventures; and, underlying all of these operations, a development mentality that emphasizes accountability, transparency, and results.
In addition to fostering an environment of accountability and transparency, our management team and partners have experience spanning P&L, general management, technology innovation, software development, and digital rights management. In this regard, we have benefited greatly from their donation of services and expertise. In addition, the fulfillment of our nonprofit development mission is constantly furthered by donation of funds, services, equipment, legal counsel, and individual volunteer time.
