Promote Africa seeks to create a partnerships with retailers that target socially-conscious consumers. Customers shopping at these vendors can rest assured that each Promote Africa product is authentic, high-quality African art; has been priced according to fair-trade guidelines (with half the per unit price coming as an advance to the artisan cooperative); and funds community-led initiatives that enhance the livelihood of members of each CPO’s community.

Promote Africa weaves a colorful and complete narrative for each product by publishing artisan interviews and profiles, the history of each community partner organization, and the product creation process that culminates in a work of art.
