What We Do
Promote Africa, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is involved with a wide range of international music, art, literacy, and community development projects.
In the music industry, Promote Africa has innovated the industry's first non-profit MP3 sales platform, serves as a non-profit music production company for African musicians, conducts international film projects, and provides capital resources to partners across the continent.
In the arts, we market and sell a wide range of African artwork produced by half a dozen artisan groups across Namibia. We establish partnerships, setup import/export arrangements, and directly remove all intermediaries so that 100% of all product sales revenue goes directly to our disadvantaged artists.
Additionally, we support international literacy initiatives by promoting African literature, hosting book drives, and developing governmental partnerships to distribute educational resources to schools across southern Africa.
